One of the main innovations implemented in the Fluance RT87 player is the two-level base design. The upper plinth, on which the tonearm and spindle are mounted, is separated from the lower part by six conical vibration isolators. Due to the V-shape, each of them is in contact with the lower platform at only one point, which should reduce the transmission of mechanical vibrations.
