The Luphonic Model R2 is a high—end belt-driven vinyl turntable with a unique three-layer "sandwich" chassis made of solid surface synthetic stone and a vibration-proof rubber layer that minimizes resonances and vibrations. A 24 mm thick plate and a separate motor and tonearm housing ensure quiet operation and accurate reproduction. The speed control (33⅓ and 45 rpm) is carried out by a digital package with an LED display. Built-in powerful synchronous motor with proprietary electronics for high rotational stability.
