The Aurora turntable uses a brushless direct‑drive motor with an 8‑pole coil structure. According to the manufacturer, this design ensures a stable rotation speed and a low level of vibration. The support bearing is acoustically isolated from the motor to reduce the transmission of mechanical vibrations to the platter and the stylus.
