The Grimm Audio PW1 phono preamplifier was first shown at High End Munich 2024 and Dutch Audio Event 2024, and is now available for purchase. Grimm Audio is best known for its digital components, but the PW1 is a fully analog device and, according to the developers, is “the perfect companion for the MU2, LS1 or any other audio system of your choice.” The “PW” stands for Phono Wizard, so the PW1 features a wide range of input options to suit the cartridge parameters.
