Optik Phono 1.1 allows instant switching between two DS Audio cartridges using the controls on the front panel – for example, between stereo and mono cartridges or between two different stereo cartridges – without the need to reconnect cables or use multiple phono stages. For serious turntables equipped with multiple tonearms, this is a convenient, albeit premium, solution that further underlines just how niche and uncompromising the DS Audio ecosystem has become.
