This device has the same housing as the BP-2 or BOT-1 and BUC-1 phono correctors and increases the output voltage to 3-6 mV, which will be enough for most MM-type phono correctors. The Bryston TF-2 is available in two versions.: with a gain of 20 and 30 dB. To select the correct version, we recommend following the following tips: if the output voltage of your pickup is between 0.1 and 0.2 mV, the version with a gain of 30 dB is suitable for you. From 0.4 to 0.5, use the version with a gain of 20 dB.

Made in the "micro" form factor (like the BUC-1 and BOT-1), the device works with MM/MC type pickups (61/72 dB). An external power supply (optional full-size PS-2 or new PS3 DC) serves not only to keep the device compact, but also to minimize possible interference from high-current circuits. The MM/MC modification is recommended to be used with the TF-2 boost transformer.
