Cyrus engineers have completely redesigned the internal circuitry of the 40 PPA phono preamplifier. A new six-layer printed circuit board (PCB) design is designed to reduce interference by isolating key signal paths to reduce noise to near zero. A new power supply reduces noise by 20% compared to its predecessor, the Classic PHONO. Gain control has been made more precise and is now adjustable in 5 dB steps.

The Cyprus Classic Phono switching arsenal allows you to simultaneously connect up to four turntables or tonearms and easily switch between them. For each input, you can set the type of pickup head MM or MC, gain, as well as resistance and capacitance. All settings are saved in memory for future reference.
