The Eversolo DMP-A10 is a streamer, DAC and preamplifier in one box, and its conversion is done by the ESS ES9039PRO chip. The chip is combined with Eversolo's own streaming and connectivity features.

Key specs that matter

The DMP-A10 plays PCM up to 32-bit/768kHz and DSD up to DSD512, which covers practically any high-resolution file format in a modern digital library. Frequency response is 20Hz to 20,000Hz within plus or minus 3dB. Output level reaches 4.2V from the balanced outputs and 2.1V from the single-ended ones. Eversolo specifies 129-130dB for signal-to-noise. THD plus noise, measured at 22kHz, is 0.000078-0.00009%.

Pairing

As a preamplifier with a 4.2V balanced output, the DMP-A10 can be wired directly into a power amplifier input or into active loudspeakers, so no extra preamp stage is needed.

Alternatives

The Eversolo DAC-Z10 is another DAC from the brand.
