The CD-transport features a new chassis, machined from a single piece of aluminum, with a forced-damping system. The optical drive mounts are also machined from solid aluminum, eliminating the need for additional connections or fasteners. This design minimizes noise and vibration and ensures stable and accurate data reading from the drive.
