The Magnetar Ultima transport is based on the Magnetar MKII platform, supplemented by a number of new solutions in the areas of power supply, synchronization, and mechanical design. The new model supports the playback of optical discs in UHD Blu‑ray, Blu‑ray, DVD, CD, SACD, and DVD‑Audio formats, as well as the playback of files from USB drives connected via USB and via the network.
