The MKII version also received significantly upgraded digital inputs for any situation where you want to use it as a standalone DAC. In addition to the standard S/PDIF optical input, it also features a high-performance XMOS USB input for high-quality audio when directly connected to a computer.
The CD430 has always been a very important part of our Passion line, so we had to pay special attention to it when upgrading to the MKII version. The transition from the discontinued Philips CD PRO mechanics to the Philips CDM4 and the upgrade of the DAC section to a pair of AD1955 analog devices ensured that the original sound quality was preserved and makes it look forward to the future.
Developed on the basis of the CD430 player from the Passion series, this player uses the Sanyo HD850 CD top-loading transport with the patented Blue Diode. The ABAC Genesis CD4 has balanced and RCA analog outputs, and it can also be used as a transport, with a coaxial digital output. It is possible to turn off the power to the digital output.
The CD200 is an updated version of the popular CD player with a new DAC section and upgraded digital inputs. It serves as an excellent CD player and an excellent standalone DAC in your Hi-Fi system or with your computer.
The YBA Heritage CD100 CD player is also capable of acting as a DAC with an SPDIF or USB connection and is equipped with the same digital-to-analog converter from Wolfson. One of the switches on the facade allows you to control the frequency of oversampling, while the network player does not have an upsampler. At the same time, the CD100 has a much more modest set of digital outputs than the MP100B.
