According to Shanling, the EC Zero AKM with an AKM AK4493S DAC and a pair of SGM8262-2 amplifiers (SG Micro Corp.) provides transparent, neutral sound and low output impedance. Due to this, it is also suitable for sensitive in-channel monitors. Hi-Res audio formats up to 32 bit/768 kHz for Linear PCM and up to DSD512 for DSD are supported. Through a 3.5mm stereo mini jack and a 4.4mm Pentaconn, headphones can be connected in unbalanced and balanced modes, respectively.
