The bass band is voiced by a 6.5-inch (17 cm) driver with a carbon fiber diffuser. This material has high rigidity with low weight, and the woven structure has good damping properties. This means that the speaker is able to sound with minimal distortion, without coloring the sound. It operates in a phase-invertor design and has a linear response in the range of 40-400 Hz.
