The Chord Quartet upscaler is capable of receiving digital audio signals via two BNC input lines in dual BNC mode, two TOSLINK optical lines, or a galvanically isolated USB-B interface. The novelty then scales the signal using the Blackbird WTA filter developed by Rob Watts and transmits the result to the DAC via a single S/PDIF, TOSLINK with a frequency of up to 192 kHz or dual BNC with a frequency of up to 768 kHz.
