The LIVEBOX is an audio hub from Live Box that combines a wide range of digital and analogue connections with network streaming in a single chassis. It is meant to be the one central component that handles many sources at once.

Key specs that matter

A 4-inch matrix display shows the unit's status. On the input side there are XLR, RCA, AES/EBU, S/PDIF, USB and TOSLINK connections, plus UPnP and RJ45 for the network. Outputs are AES/EBU, XLR and RCA, with three analogue output channels. Roon Ready support and Qobuz are built in, so the LIVEBOX works as a streaming endpoint without additional hardware.

Engineering and use context

Gathering this many inputs in one box removes the need for separate switching or conversion components in a system with many sources.

Pairing

The three analogue output channels and broad digital input coverage let the LIVEBOX feed several amplifiers or zones at the same time, and Roon Ready certification connects it directly to an existing Roon library and control setup.
