One of the key differences of the Emotiva XSP-2 preamp is its modular platform. From the factory, the preamp is equipped with a fully balanced DAC module based on the ESS chip, and in the future the manufacturer plans to offer a streaming module for the novelty. According to Emotiva, it can be added to the device without complex upgrades, making the XSP-2 a more flexible solution for the future.
