The Kondo G-70i is a high-end tube linear preamp with a modular amplifier unit and a powerful power supply. It is equipped with a 50-step volume control on MELF resistors and is built with minimal distortion and noise.
The Kondo G-1000i is a flagship tube stereo preamp with a unique 50—step volume control and 6072 vacuum tubes. The design uses a copper chassis, silver conductors and capacitors, as well as a proprietary silver-wound input transformer for maximum clarity and sound detail.
The manufacturer states that this model was developed as a linear preamplifier that combines the rich and mature sound of the G-70 with the power of the flagship G-1000.
