The EVO series preamps even have a rectifier in the power supply implemented on the lamps. This option has a lower level of intrinsic noise than AC rectifiers on semiconductor diodes. This results in a more natural, texturally rich and exciting reproduction, since only pure tube lamps are used in the scheme.
