The power supply unit of the Wotan power amplifier is equipped with two 600 VA transformers each, separately for each channel. The filter has a battery of 160,000 UF capacitors. The output stages are implemented on 24 powerful bipolar Toshiba transistors.
The amplifier develops 100 Watts in each channel when operating on a load with a nominal resistance of 8 ohms and 200 Watts with a load resistance of 4 ohms. When choosing a balanced connection, you can use the Schiit Vidar 2 as a monoblock. In this case, the component can output up to 400 watts to a load of 8 ohms.
The large terminal, Gjallarhorn, is ready to output up to 10 watts per channel to 8-ohm speakers. Its linear power supply is integrated into the case, as the amplifier is based on a larger chassis, familiar from the Jotunheim model.
