The heart of the Audiolab 6000 MkII integrated amplifier power supply is a 200 VA toroidal transformer supported by four 15,000 UF smoothing capacitors.
The Audiolab 8300A has a "dual mono" type design, it operates in class AB, delivering up to 75 watts per channel to a load with a resistance of 8 ohms. Compared to the previous generation, the Audiolab 8300A is equipped with a higher-power power transformer, more capacious storage capacitors and enlarged radiators, which allowed for increased output power.
The output power remained at the same level, that is, 50 watts per channel when operating on speakers with a nominal resistance of 8 ohms in the traditional analog class AB. The output stage, according to the manufacturer, is characterized by high thermal stability, while the amplifier can supply a current of up to 9 amperes to the load. A solid 200 VA toroidal transformer is installed in the power supply unit, and the total capacity of the filter capacitors is 60,000 microfarads.
The power of the Audiolab 6000A is 50 watts per channel in class AB, and it is also possible to use the device as a power amplifier or pre-amplifier, for which separate inputs and outputs are provided.
The integrated 7000A amplifier, which looks similar to other AudioLab models and therefore provides full compliance with the visual aesthetics of the brand, surpasses the younger 6000A due to its higher output power of 70 watts per channel, a new DAC, a new full-color IPS LCD screen and much more! More compact than the 9000 series model, it retains its clear ergonomics, high-quality design, useful feature set, and excellent all-round acoustic performance and connectivity.
