The Teufel MOTIV XL is a hybrid of home and portable acoustics. The new product supports a wide range of streaming services and wireless interfaces: Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, AirPlay 2 and Google Cast. Moreover, this is the first Teufel wireless audio system with Roon Ready certification, which makes it easy to integrate the speaker into existing Roon distributed systems.

The speaker has a 380mm woofer with a front‑mounted waveguide that delivers bass up to 36 Hz (-6 dB), and an optimized compression tweeter with a horn completes the picture. All of this is powered by a Class D amplifier from Texas Instruments and a 32‑bit DSP. As a result, the speaker develops a power of 440 watts (RMS) and is capable of reaching a sound pressure of 132 dB.
