Frida is a two—way passive speaker system from SV-Audio. The speaker housings are made of carbonized and natural bamboo strips.
The speaker system is equipped with a pair of 5-inch braided mineral diffusers with excellent internal damping and extremely linear frequency response, which are responsible for reproducing medium and low frequencies. They are complemented by a 38mm ring tweeter for detailed reproduction of overtones with very high resolution and without a tendency to intrusive resonances.
The speakers are equipped with four 7-inch SEAS low-frequency drivers, one 5-inch driver for midrange reproduction, as well as front and rear tweeters from SB Acoustics Satori.
From a technical point of view, the SV-Audio Astrid is a passive two—way speaker system equipped with a 1.5-inch silk ring radiator with neodymium magnets and four 5-inch mid-bass speakers with self-reinforcing polypropylene diffusers. These components work together in a single frequency range, forming a true linear system. This gives a larger-scale and emotionally enriched sound, thanks to the increased area of the diffusers.
