Segno Maya is a new model of moving coil (MC) cartridge, the design of which implements several solutions aimed at expanding the dynamic range and accurately conveying timbres. The design is based on four hand-wound coils of 5N (99.999%) pure silver, mounted on a square permalloy core. This unit is suspended in a precisely focused magnetic field created by a rare earth magnet made of samarium cobalt.
