The Onkyo Icon P-80 network preamplifier is equipped with a built-in phono preamplifier that supports MM and MC cartridges, an HDMI ARC input and wireless connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, AirPlay 2, Chromecast and Bluetooth. The new preamplifier supports popular streaming services, including Spotify, TIDAL and Amazon Music, and is Roon Ready certified. The built-in DAC operates on the powerful Asahi Kasei AK4452 chip with support for PCM up to 32 bit / 768 kHz.
The Onkyo Icon M-80 power amplifier delivers 2 x 200 W of power when driving speakers with an impedance of 4 Ohms and 2 x 150 W for speakers with an impedance of 8 Ohms. The amplifier is made in a fully balanced configuration with output stages operating in class A/B.
The Onkyo Icon A-50 streaming integrated amplifier delivers up to 2 x 180 W when driving a load with a nominal impedance of 4 Ohms and 140 W for 8 Ohms. HDMI ARC is also present, streaming capabilities include full support for most popular platforms such as Spotify, Qobuz, etc. A built-in DAC based on the Asahi Kasei AK4452 chip with support for PCM up to 32-bit / 768 kHz is also present.
The Onkyo Icon C-30 CD player features a DAC that supports PCM digital streams up to 24-bit/192 kHz, delivering detailed music playback with a signal-to-noise ratio of 107 dB. It uses Onkyo's proprietary Vector Linear Shaping Circuit (VLSC) technology, which, according to Onkyo, reduces impulse noise and provides a cleaner signal at the analog output. The player also uses a clock generator with an accuracy of ±10 parts per million (PPM) for improved synchronization.
The Onkyo Muse Y-50 is all-in-one network amplifier featuring fully digital signal paths and Axign Class D amplification. The model offers up to 125 watts per channel into 8 ohms (up to 250 watts per channel into 4 ohms).
The Onkyo Muse Y-50 is all-in-one network amplifier featuring fully digital signal paths and Axign Class D amplification. The model offers up to 75 watts per channel into 8 ohms (up to 150 watts per channel into 4 ohms).
The Onkyo Y-50 is equipped with three analog RCA line inputs, a coaxial digital input, an HDMI ARC port for connecting TVs and game consoles, and an integrated MM/MC phono corrector. An Ethernet port and a Wi-Fi adapter are included as standard, as is support for all major streaming protocols. A pre-out output for the subwoofer and improved screw-type acoustic terminals complete the rear panel.
The Y-40 uses an all-digital architecture with Axign Class D amplification and is equipped with the same 5.46-inch color display with metadata and VU meters. Streaming support is completely identical to the older model: Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, Chromecast and AirPlay 2 via Ethernet or Wi-Fi, controlled from the Onkyo Controller app.
