Musicnote is the brand of Musicnote Electronics Co., Ltd., a privately owned Chinese maker of CD players based in the Xinhui District of Jiangmen, Guangdong. Its engineers claim nearly 20 years of experience in audio product design, and the range also covers CD carousels, speakers and power amplifiers.
Range & what it's known for
CD players form the core of the range, with models such as the CD-MU5T MK, CD-MU8, CD-MU9 and CD-MU13 Pro The top-loading CD-MU8 MK shows the house approach, combining dual ES9038Q2M DAC chips, OPA2604 op-amps and a 6H3 tube in the output stage. It adds a volume control so it can feed active speakers or a power amplifier directly, with balanced XLR and RCA outputs plus USB-B, coaxial and Bluetooth inputs.
Who owns it and where it's made
Musicnote Electronics is a private company that designs and builds its products in Jiangmen, where it runs its own testing facility.

Who it's for
