The Excalibur Midnight Blue pickup head body is made of Delrin, a high—tech plastic that, due to its high rigidity and very good internal damping, has long been considered an ideal material for pickup designs. Delrin creates an extremely "clean", resonance-controlled working environment for the head mechanism and thus forms the basis for stable reproduction.
