The Esoteric Grandioso K1X DAC uses 32 independent elements for each channel, and the resolution of the Δ∑ converter is 64 bits.The system can work with signals up to DSD 22.5 MHz and PCM 768 MHz.

The player is based on the proprietary VRDS-ATLAS optical disk transport "ATLAS 05", specially designed for this model, and the digital-to-analog conversion unit is made in the Master Sound Discrete DAC concept with solutions developed for the Grandioso G1X precision clock generator.

The Esoteric K-01XD SACD Disc Player is designed and engineered exclusively for true music lovers and dedicated audiophiles using the most advanced audio engineering technology available today.

The DAC in the device is a proprietary Master Sound Discrete DAC G2 based on an FPGA with a multi—level architecture. It supports DSD decoding up to 22.5MHz and PCM decoding up to 768 kHz. MELF resistors and IDM-01 amplifying elements are used to convert the digital signal into current. The analog output is built according to the proprietary Esoteric-HCLD (High Current Line Driver) circuit with a high voltage rise rate of up to 2000 V/µs.
