Audioengine A2+ Next Gen Anniversary Edition speakers offer 24-bit audio, Bluetooth 5.3 with aptX HD support, and a USB-C port for connecting to modern devices.

The biggest upgrade for the Audioengine HD3 is the move to a 24-bit DAC chip. The first-generation model had a 16-bit version, which was still good quality, but this upgrade delivers cleaner, more detailed sound, especially when you connect the speakers directly to your computer via USB-C.

The output power is also pleasing: the unbalanced output provides 2.06 Vrms at a load of 600 ohms, and the balanced output provides up to 4.09 Vrms. The ultra-low output impedance (<0.5 ohms) ensures clear and controlled sound. The signal-to—noise ratio is 132 dB (balanced output) and 125 dB (unbalanced output), and the channel separation is an impressive -129 dB and -96 dB, respectively.
