Проигрыватели виниловых дисков — VULKKANO TD10

The TD10 is the first turntable from VULKKANO, a European maker better known for its active and passive loudspeakers. It was conceived as an entry point to vinyl - a complete package that arrives with the cartridge already mounted, a phono stage built into the plinth and every accessory needed to play records on the first evening. The brand sells it alone at EUR 159.99 and also in bundles with its A4 ARC MKII and A5 ARC MKII powered speakers.

Key specs that matter

Drive is by belt from a decoupled motor, with 33 1/3 and 45 rpm selected by a control on the deck. The tonearm has an effective length of 218.5 mm, an overhang of 18.5 mm and an adjustable counterweight, and it accepts a tracking force between 3.0 and 6.0 g. An Audio-Technica ATL-3600 moving-magnet cartridge is fitted at the factory. VULKKANO quotes wow and flutter of 0.15 percent or less with 55 dB of signal-to-noise. The unit measures 420 x 360 x 125 mm and weighs 4.8 kg. Power comes from an external 12 V, 500 mA adapter, and maximum draw is 5 W.

Engineering and use context

Separating the motor from the platter assembly through a belt keeps motor vibration from reaching the stylus, which matters on a light, low-cost chassis. Because the RIAA stage is integrated, the output already sits at line level, and the deck connects to powered speakers or to an amplifier that lacks a phono input with no extra box in between. The plinth is built from wood and comes in brown, black or white. In the box are a hinged dust cover, a platter mat, a 45 rpm adapter, an RCA cable with a ground lead and the counterweight, and the printed manual is backed by a video that walks through assembly. Setup therefore involves little more than fitting the belt, balancing the arm and connecting two cables.

Pairing

The simplest system is the TD10 plugged straight into a pair of VULKKANO powered monitors such as the A5 ARC MKII, which is exactly how the brand packages it. It also works with any stereo amplifier or receiver through a line input, and the ground wire on the included cable helps avoid hum when connected to equipment with a chassis ground terminal. The tracking force range is set for the supplied ATL-3600 and cartridges of the same class, and the counterweight lets owners dial in the force the cartridge maker specifies.

Alternatives

The VULKKANO TD20 is the second turntable in the brand's range and is also offered in bundles with its active speakers.
