Проигрыватели виниловых дисков — Esoteric T-01

The T-01 is a turntable from Esoteric announced in August 2026 and built around the patented Esoteric MagneDrive contactless drive, patent JP6501130, which the company describes as an evolution of its Grandioso T1. With the TA-9S tonearm it is priced at USD 50,000, EUR 48,000, GBP 41,999 or JPY 4,300,000, and the armless T-01AL costs USD 46,000.

Key specs that matter

Speeds are 33 1/3 and 45 rpm, each adjustable by plus or minus 12.5 percent in 0.1 percent steps. Wow and flutter is 0.06 percent or less WRMS. The static-balanced TA-9S arm has a total length of 309 mm, an effective length of 232 mm, a mounting distance of 216 mm, an overhang of 16 mm and an offset angle of 22.5 degrees. Tracking force is set from 0 to 3 g in 0.25 g steps, cartridge and shell combinations from 15 to 32 g are accepted, and the headshell weighs 17 g. With the arm fitted the main unit measures 539 x 206 x 432 mm, or 517 x 185 x 432 mm without it, and weighs 35 kg, split between a 22 kg base and a 13 kg platter. The separate power supply measures 146 x 128 x 353 mm and weighs 7 kg. Consumption is 9 W, with 0.3 W in standby.

Engineering and use context

In the MagneDrive layout a magnetic driver with a dome-shaped magnet of alternating S and N poles sits on top of the motor, and a soft iron induction wheel on the lower part of the platter lies close to it. As the driver turns, induced magnetic force pulls the platter round in sync without physical contact, keeping motor vibration away from it. Magne-Float platter technology cuts the effective mass of the heavy platter to about 4 kg and lowers friction at the inverted spindle bearing. The cabinet is a triple-layer construction of aluminium and MDF, with a mid-chassis panel in high-gloss piano lacquer.

Pairing

A BNC clock input accepts a 10 MHz sine signal of 0.5 to 1.0 Vrms, allowing sync with the Esoteric G-01XD or G-05 master clock. Two tonearms can be installed by adding optional arm base kits, which Esoteric lists for SME, Graham Phantom, Ikeda, SAEC WE-4700, Reed, GLANZ, Kuzma Safir 9, SAT, Tri-Planar and several other arms. Esoteric also accepts custom orders for arms not on the list. The cartridge is not included. The supplied kit contains an installing tool, a height reference gauge, a turntable mat, two handles, seven felt pads and separate AC and DC power cords.
