Проигрыватели виниловых дисков — Fender Musical Instruments American Vintage

The American Vintage is a belt-drive turntable jointly developed by Fender Musical Instruments and MoFi Electronics, built with a solid alder wood plinth finished in the very same tricolor sunburst that first adorned the Stratocaster, Telecaster and Precision Bass back in the 1950s. This second collaboration between the two American brands merges MoFi's audiophile analogue heritage with Fender's iconic guitar-building legacy, designed and manufactured entirely in the USA.

Key specs that matter

Two speeds are supported - 33 1/3 and 45rpm - switchable via a precision electronic motor at the touch of a button, with an illuminated power switch eliminating any need for manual belt adjustment. The platter is a substantial 6.8 lb Delrin design, chosen specifically for its natural impedance match with vinyl, delivering deep-black backgrounds and a low noise floor from the increased mass. A DC synchronous belt-drive motor provides excellent speed stability for accurate pitch and rhythmic drive, and the constrained-layer-damped build adds further mass while eliminating cabinet coloration. The custom 10-inch Ultra tonearm, developed and manufactured in the USA, uses a straight aluminium design with gimbaled bearings and smooth, high-quality ball bearings for low friction in both vertical and horizontal planes, wired internally with Cardas Audio cable maintaining signal purity from headshell leads through to gold-plated RCA connectors. Anti-vibration feet, developed in conjunction with Harmonic Resolution Systems, isolate the turntable from external vibration that would otherwise mask musical detail. At 25.5 lbs, the hand-selected real alder-wood plinth showcases genuine grain patterns while contributing natural tonal resonance, and a hinged Smoked Amber acrylic dust cover completes the package. Three configurations are available - turntable only for a buyer's own cartridge, with MoFi's MasterTracker moving-magnet cartridge, or with MoFi's UltraGold moving-coil cartridge as the flagship option.

Sound and use context

Expect a warm, organic foundation with surgical groove-tracing precision when paired with the MasterTracker cartridge. Supplied complete with arm and cartridge, it offers plug-and-play convenience in an analogue rig designed to blend into a living space.

Pairing

The included high-quality Cardas Audio wiring and gold-plated RCA connectors work with any standard amplifier or phono stage matched to whichever cartridge configuration is chosen, and buyers bringing their own cartridge should confirm compatibility with the 10-inch Ultra tonearm's specific mounting requirements.

Alternatives

MoFi's broader UltraDeck and MasterDeck turntable range shares closely related engineering, including the hardened steel inverted bearing with sapphire thrust pad, worth comparing directly if this American Vintage's specific Fender-inspired aesthetic matters less than a more conventional turntable design at a similar performance tier.
