Key specs that matter

An internal DAC handles lossless files up to 24-bit and 192 kHz, with gapless playback. The device receives streams via AirPlay 2, Tidal Connect, Spotify Connect and Google Cast over dual-band Wi-Fi 6 on 2.4 and 5 GHz, with WPA2 and WPA3 security. A single 3.5 mm socket works both as an analogue line output and as an optical mini-Toslink S/PDIF output. The housing measures 50 x 70 x 18.5 mm and weighs 45 g, and power arrives through USB-C at 5 V and 1 A.

Engineering and use context

The Atonemo app is needed only for setup and for the 10-band graphic equaliser, while playback is controlled from the native apps of the streaming services. Apple HomeKit and Google Home support allows the unit to join multiroom groups, and firmware updates install automatically over the air. There is no Bluetooth playback. The box contains a 0.5 m AUX cable and a 1.5 m USB-C cable.

Alternatives

Atonemo offers no other streamer besides the Streamplayer.
