The DP10, also written DP-10, is a network streamer and digital music transport from the Chinese brand xDuoo, launched on 13 November 2025 at USD 999. It contains no DAC and no analogue outputs, and it has no built-in disc drive. Its job is to collect music from streaming services, local storage and an optional external CD drive and pass it on as a digital signal to a separate converter. An external CD drive connected over USB can be used both for playback and for ripping discs to storage.
Key specs that matter
The DP10 runs Android 14 on a quad-core 64-bit ARM Cortex-A55 processor with 8 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. A 5.5 inch HD touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 can be used horizontally or vertically. Storage expands through an M.2 NVMe SSD slot for drives up to 4 TB, a microSD slot for cards up to 2 TB, and USB ports for flash drives and external hard disks. Networking covers dual-band 2.4 and 5 GHz Wi-Fi 6 and gigabit Ethernet. Bluetooth 5.4 supports aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive and LDAC. Digital outputs are USB, coaxial, optical, AES, I2S over HDMI and a separate I2S port. The USB output carries PCM from 16 to 32 bit at 44.1 to 768 kHz and DSD64 to DSD512. Power comes from a 12 V 2 A DC input. The chassis measures 182 x 107 x 43 mm and weighs 0.75 kg.
Engineering and use context
Because the DP10 produces no analogue signal, all of its engineering effort goes into the digital path. Timing is taken from a low-jitter crystal oscillator, and the power supply is tiered, with an independent ultra-low-noise LDO regulator for each module, so that noise from the processor, display and storage does not reach the output clock. Android 14 allows Apple Music, Qobuz, Tidal and Spotify to run as preinstalled apps, and DLNA, AirPlay and QPlay let phones and computers cast to the unit. A remote app is available for Android, iOS and Windows. With an NVMe SSD installed, the DP10 can hold a large local library, and the USB CD drive option allows a disc collection to be ripped straight onto that drive.
Pairing
The DP10 always needs an external DAC. The USB output suits current converters that accept high PCM rates and native DSD, while the coaxial, optical and AES outputs connect to older DACs and AV receivers. The I2S outputs work with converters that have a matching I2S input, and the pin assignment must match on both units. Any compact CD drive with a USB connection adds disc playback.
Alternatives
The xDuoo X10T II is an older portable digital transport from the same brand for users who need a smaller, simpler unit.
