The quoted bandwidth runs from 25 Hz to 300 Hz within plus or minus 3 dB. A built-in amplifier rated at 500 W drives the unit, so no external power amp is needed. The cabinet measures 82 x 37 x 37 cm and the subwoofer weighs 35 kg, which calls for a floor position with enough clearance and a sturdy surface.

Pairing

As an active design, the SUB 12 is fed from an AV receiver's LFE socket or the sub out of a preamplifier or integrated amplifier, and works alongside separate main speakers rather than replacing them.
