The Omada N°1 is the stand-mount model in the Omada range from Focal, a line that appeared in North America in late November 2025 without a press release and without a listing on the global Focal site. The range was sold through a ProSource partnership, and the Omada N°1 launched at USD 1,398 per pair, while all Omada models are built around the Slatefiber cone and the TAM tweeter. The family also includes the Omada N3 and N4 floorstanders and the Omada Center.

Key specs that matter

Inside the reflex-loaded enclosure are a 16.5 cm Slatefiber mid-bass cone and a 25 mm TAM tweeter, an inverted dome of aluminium and magnesium with an M-shaped profile. The crossover sits at 2,800 Hz. Focal gives a response of 56 Hz to 30 kHz within 3 dB and a -6 dB point of 48 Hz. Sensitivity is 89.5 dB at 2.83 V and 1 m, and the impedance is 8 ohm nominal with a minimum of 4.5 ohm. The cabinet measures 387 mm high, 219 mm wide and 260 mm deep, and it weighs 7 kg with its grille fitted.

Engineering and use context

Slatefiber, made from recycled carbon fibre, is the same cone material Focal uses in the mid-bass drivers of its Chora range and its Studio Alpha Evo monitors, and the material has been applied in Focal products ranging from mass-market home speakers to car audio. The reflex port fires from the front of the cabinet, which Focal notes makes the speaker practical for compact listening spaces. The front baffle is curved, and its panel carries a leather-like texture. Focal specifies the Omada N°1 for rooms of up to 30 m2. At launch, high-gloss black was the only colour option, and the line was sold in North America only. An optional dedicated stand is available, and it tilts the enclosure backward to provide time alignment between the two drivers.

Pairing

Focal recommends amplifiers rated between 25 W and 120 W. With a shallow impedance minimum, the speaker is an easy electrical load. The N4 floorstander, listed at USD 2,299 each, completes the stereo options of the range with the same Slatefiber cone and TAM tweeter technology. For a larger system, the Omada Center at USD 699 each can join a pair in a multichannel layout, and the N3 floorstander, priced at USD 1,899 each, uses three Slatefiber woofers, a Slatefiber midrange and the same TAM tweeter.

Alternatives

For a step up among Focal stand-mounts, the Kanta N°1 moves to a 27 mm beryllium tweeter and a flax mid-bass driver.
