The Lilli is a compact two-way standmount loudspeaker from Neodio, the Bordeaux company founded in 2002 by Stéphane Even, which designs and builds its products in France and has produced some 30 products since its start. Launched in October 2025, it is the first speaker Neodio offers under its own name, joining the Kelinac 322NEO and 722NEO floorstanders that came from a collaboration with the French maker Kelinac. The price is EUR 4,500 per pair, rising to EUR 6,000 with the optional stand and Harmonie footers.

Key specs that matter

Both drivers are made to Neodio's specification by the French company Kartesian, so the transducers as well as the cabinet and filter are of French origin. A 100 mm high-excursion mid/bass unit with an aluminium and carbon diaphragm is joined by a 28 mm soft dome tweeter with a neodymium motor. Neodio quotes a range of 50 Hz to 20 kHz, a sensitivity of 82 dB at 2.83 V and a nominal impedance of 8 ohm. Each cabinet is 210 mm high, 154 mm wide without the side dampers and 270 mm deep, and weighs 5 kg. The standard finish is grey, and other colours are available on request.

Engineering and use context

The reflex cabinet vents at the back and is built from high-density MDF in several thicknesses, with internal damping material. On each side a stainless steel disc bonded with a viscoelastic layer, a Neodio-only damping method, is applied to reduce panel resonance. The second-order crossover is designed in-house with varnished air-core coils and polypropylene capacitors, and Neodio says the effect of each part on the result was tested at length. Internal wiring is Neodio's own Fractal 8 cable, the same type the company fitted to the 322NEO. The dedicated stand costs EUR 800 per pair, and a set of three Harmonie supports per speaker adds EUR 600, which Neodio says help hold the bass steady.

Pairing

Neodio sets the minimum amplifier rating at 40 W. The steady nominal load is easy on most transistor and valve designs, although the modest sensitivity favours an amplifier with some reserve rather than a very low-powered one. With the vent on the back panel, a gap between cabinet and wall is needed, so a closed bookcase shelf is a poor home for it. Its footprint still allows a desk, a sideboard or an open shelf.

Neodio offers no other standmount model, as its remaining loudspeakers are the Kelinac 322NEO and 722NEO floorstanders.
