Наушники — Focal STELLIA

The Stellia is a closed-back over-ear headphone from Focal, built with a high sensitivity figure. This model represents Focal's flagship closed-back design, sitting alongside the open-backed Utopia as the brand's two reference-tier headphone offerings, trading the Utopia's fully open construction for genuine isolation without sacrificing Focal's flagship driver technology.

Key specs that matter

Rated response is 5 Hz to 23 000 Hz. Sensitivity is 106 dB per milliwatt into 35 ohms, an efficient design for a flagship headphone, considerably easier to drive than many rival reference-tier designs. Connector is 3.5mm. Weight is 435 g, substantial for a closed over-ear design, consistent with the serious build quality expected of Focal's flagship closed-back offering.

Sound and use context

Expect a closed, isolating character with Focal's characteristic flagship driver technology, considerably easier to drive than the open Utopia given the higher 106 dB sensitivity figure here - a reference-level performer for a listener who needs isolation from ambient noise or wants to avoid disturbing others, without giving up the brand's most advanced driver engineering.

Pairing

The 35 ohm impedance and 106 dB sensitivity are considerably easier to drive than many rival flagship headphones, working well even from a capable portable source, though a dedicated headphone amplifier should still extract more detail and control.

Alternatives

Focal's Utopia sits alongside this model as the brand's open-backed flagship, worth choosing instead for a quiet home environment where isolation is not a priority and the Utopia's fully open soundstage is preferred over the Stellia's closed, isolating character. Focal extensive dealer network makes arranging a direct comparison against the open-backed Utopia practical, helping clarify whether isolation or open-backed spaciousness better suits a specific listening environment and daily routine. Given the considerable price and ambition this flagship headphone represents, a proper demonstration before committing to a purchase is strongly worthwhile. Overall this remains an exceptional closed-back choice within Focal flagship headphone catalogue. A dealer visit remains the simplest way to compare this model against the open-backed Utopia directly. A snug, correctly fitted headband and ear cushion also improve comfort during extended listening sessions.
