The headband is described as solid yet flexible, with a firm swivel mechanism, and the metal yoke lets the cups turn forward so the headphone lies flat for storage. Earpads are wrapped in high-grade leather and can be replaced without tools, with memory foam inside, although no spare set is supplied. The open-back layout lets air move freely through the cups, so the headphone leaks sound to its surroundings and offers little isolation from outside noise. The standard lead uses high-purity oxygen-free copper, has a cotton sleeve about 4 mm thick and plugs into a 3.5 mm socket on each cup, and a 4.4 mm balanced cable is offered as an optional upgrade. The package also includes a headphone stand and foam protective inserts.

Pairing

The low impedance and modest power rating suit a desktop headphone amplifier or a portable source with a strong output stage, and the optional balanced cable lets it connect to balanced outputs. The stock plug with its adapter covers both portable players and full-size amplifiers on the single-ended side.
