The Harrier is a tribrid in-ear monitor from Juzear, the Chinese IEM brand. It combines dynamic, balanced armature and micro planar drivers, and it was developed under the Tuned with Squiglink programme, targeting a reference curve with added bass. Its faceplates are made of natural blue tiger's eye stone, so each pair has its own pattern.

Key specs that matter

Each side uses one dynamic driver with a fourth-generation carbon composite coated diaphragm, four custom mid-frequency balanced armatures, two Knowles 31736 high-frequency balanced armatures and two composite micro planar drivers, nine in total. A four-way acoustic crossover with independent duct tubes divides the signal. Impedance is 32 ohms, sensitivity is 112 dB SPL/mW and frequency response is 20 Hz to 20 kHz. THD+N is 0.8% or less. Standard 0.78 mm two-pin connectors attach a cable with swappable 3.5 mm and 4.4 mm plugs. Each earpiece weighs about 7.1 g.

Engineering and use context

The dynamic driver handles the bass, the four custom balanced armatures the midrange, and the two Knowles armatures and two micro planars share the upper midrange and treble. Micro planar drivers use a thin film diaphragm with a conductive pattern, suited to high frequencies. Each group of drivers has its own acoustic duct, which keeps them from interacting and helps maintain low distortion. The shells are printed by DLP 3D printing in resin, and the tiger's eye faceplates are machined on a CNC mill to resemble the reflection in a bird of prey's eye, then framed by nickel metal rings. Juzear released the Harrier on 11 November 2025 at USD 329.99, in blue and yellow versions. A single vent at the back relieves pressure on the dynamic driver. The nozzle is a proper metal nozzle rather than moulded resin, which keeps eartips secure. The cable is a hybrid of 6N single-crystal copper and silver-plated wire. Eleven pairs of eartips in several types, including one pair of foam tips, come in two cases, together with a hard carrying case with a magnetic clasp, a carrying strap and a cleaning cloth. The plugs are swapped by hand, so one cable serves both single-ended and balanced sources. Juzear positions the Harrier as an accessibly priced flagship.
