Наушники — Logitech ASTRO A20 X

The ASTRO A20 X is a closed-back wireless gaming headset from Logitech G, sold under the ASTRO name and positioned as a less costly companion to the ASTRO A50 X. Its main feature is the PLAYSYNC BASE, which keeps two gaming systems connected at once and lets the wearer move between them from the headset. The launch price was USD 179.99.

Key specs that matter

Sound comes from 40 mm Pro-G drivers with biocellulose diaphragms, covering 20 Hz to 20 kHz. The LIGHTSPEED link runs at 2.4 GHz with 24-bit uncompressed audio and a stated range of about 30 m, and Bluetooth 5.3 is built in as a second path, though the two radios do not work at the same time. The rechargeable lithium-polymer battery lasts up to 90 hours with lighting off and around 40 hours with the default RGB settings, and it charges over USB-C. The detachable omnidirectional boom microphone captures 70 Hz to 20 kHz at a 48 kHz sampling rate and uses BLUE VO!CE processing. The headset weighs 290 g.

Engineering and use context

The PLAYSYNC BASE has two USB-C ports on the back, so a console and a PC, or two consoles, can stay plugged in together, and a switch on the right earcup chooses the active one. Listed compatibility covers PlayStation 5 and 4, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 1 and 2, PC and Mac. The left earcup holds the power switch, a Bluetooth button, a volume wheel and the mic mute button, while the right earcup adds a wheel that balances game audio against chat, based on ASTRO MixAmp technology. A LED inside the mic lights up when it is muted. The frame is plastic with no earcup swivel, the cushions are cloth over memory foam and cannot be removed, and a suspension band spreads the load on the head. LIGHTSYNC RGB offers 8 zones in 16.8 million colours. On PC the G HUB and ASTRO software, and on consoles the Logitech G mobile app, give parametric EQ for both headphones and microphone, with settings stored in the headset.

Pairing

The headset does not need a separate DAC or amplifier, as conversion and drive are handled inside. It fits players who share one desk between a PC and a console, while Bluetooth covers a phone for calls or music. The box includes the headset, the detachable mic, the PLAYSYNC BASE, a spare head strap, two 1.8 m USB-C to USB-A cables and documentation, and Logitech gives a 2-year limited warranty.

Alternatives

The ASTRO A50 X is the higher-priced Logitech G wireless headset, built around an HDMI base station that acts as a video and audio hub for several consoles.
