The EOS from Feliks Audio of Poland is a hybrid valve amplifier built around a pair of 300B power tubes, and it is the company's first amplifier designed to drive both headphones and loudspeakers. It also works as a balanced or single-ended preamplifier. A prototype was shown at HIGH END Vienna in June 2026, availability was set for the end of September 2026, and the list price is USD 13,786 or EUR 11,999. It sits above the Envy family in the range.
Key specs that matter
Two 300B output tubes are paired with two CV181 or 6SN7 valves. Into headphones it delivers 5 W at 1% THD and up to 8 W at 5% THD, and into loudspeakers 4 W at 1% THD and up to 6 W at 5% THD. Headphones and in-ear monitors down to 10 ohm are supported. Input sensitivity is 1 V RMS, input impedance is 43 kohm on RCA and 41 kohm on XLR, and the preamplifier output impedance is 1.4 ohm at 1 kHz. The chassis measures 470 x 470 x 295 mm and weighs 26 kg.
Engineering and use context
Feliks Audio states that the EOS has the lowest noise floor and the widest frequency response of any amplifier it has built, while keeping the classic 6SN7 and 300B pairing. Compared with the Envy, the noise floor is quoted as ten times lower and the frequency response as more than 10 kHz wider, and the output impedance is half that of earlier Feliks models. The warranty runs three years, with six months on tubes, and the UK price is GBP 11,999. A front display shows a VU meter, operating information and diagnostics, and on the prototype it tracked individual valve life, tube socket temperature and bias conditions in real time. Volume is motorised and can be adjusted from the supplied remote control. Sources connect through two RCA input pairs plus one XLR balanced pair, and the preamplifier outputs are provided on both RCA and balanced XLR. Mains versions for 115 V or 230 V at 50 or 60 Hz are produced, and the wooden parts are offered in Oak or American Walnut.
Pairing
Headphone sockets are a 6.3 mm jack and a 4-pin XLR, covering dynamic and planar magnetic models plus sensitive IEMs. With only a few watts available for loudspeakers, suitably matched high-sensitivity speakers are the logical partners, and the preamplifier outputs can send the signal on to a separate power amplifier or to active loudspeakers when more output is wanted.
Alternatives
The Feliks Audio Envy is the brand's established 300B headphone amplifier line positioned below the EOS.
