The VEGA is an active all-in-one wireless stereo speaker from DALI, the Danish loudspeaker manufacturer, presented in Vienna in May 2026 during the High End show. It places ten drivers, eight amplifier channels, a streaming platform and a DAC in a single enclosure and is priced at EUR 2,999, GBP 2,599 and about USD 4,500. It can stand horizontally or vertically and adjusts its output to the chosen orientation.

Key specs that matter

All ten drivers are made by DALI. Four 25 mm soft woven-fabric dome tweeters and four 4.5 inch paper and wood-fibre bass and midrange drivers do the main work, and two rectangular 3 x 6 inch auxiliary bass radiators sit in the end caps. Eight Class D amplifier channels in BTL configuration deliver 50 W each, 400 W in total, and an eight-channel active crossover divides the signal at 2,400 Hz. Frequency range is 32 Hz to 22.7 kHz ±3 dB, and maximum output is 110 dB at 1 m. The DAC handles up to 24 bit and 192 kHz and accepts DSD256, which it converts to PCM. Connections are HDMI ARC, analogue RCA, optical, coaxial, USB-A, LAN and an RCA subwoofer output. The VEGA measures 683 x 143 x 243 mm and weighs 8.7 kg.

Engineering and use context

Streaming runs on BluOS, which provides multiroom playback together with Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Qobuz, AirPlay 2 and TuneIn, and Bluetooth supports AAC, aptX and aptX HD. DALI's ASE processing works on the signal so that a single enclosure produces a stereo presentation wider than the cabinet itself. Adaptive Orientation Adjustment reads an orientation sensor and adapts the output when the speaker is turned from a horizontal to a vertical position, and the OLED display rotates to match. Each amplifier channel drives its own driver through the active crossover, which removes passive filter components between amplifier and driver. The auxiliary bass radiators in the end caps add low-frequency output without a port. Control comes from a mechanical volume wheel made from glass, acrylic and anodised aluminium, five preset buttons, a supplied remote control and the BluOS app. Wall brackets are included. The housing combines anodised aluminium, woven fabric and real wood veneer, finished in Dark Oak or Natural Oak.

Pairing

The HDMI ARC input connects the VEGA to a television, and the RCA subwoofer output allows a powered subwoofer to be added. A turntable with a phono stage connects to the analogue input, and BluOS lets the VEGA join other BluOS players in a multiroom system.
