Прочие устройства — Harman-Kardon SoundSticks 5 WiFi

The SoundSticks 5 Wi-Fi is a 2.1-channel speaker system with Wi-Fi streaming from Harman Kardon, part of HARMAN International of Northridge, California. It adds Wi-Fi to the SoundSticks 5, with essentially the same drivers, and keeps the design of two clear tubular satellites and a clear dome subwoofer. It was announced at CES in January 2026 and went on sale in March 2026 at GBP 350 and EUR 380.

Key specs that matter

Each satellite carries three 40 mm midrange drivers and one 25 mm silk-dome tweeter, and the subwoofer has a 5.25 inch, or 133 mm, down-firing driver. Total power is 190 W RMS at 1% THD. Frequency response is 40 Hz to 20 kHz at -6 dB, and signal to noise ratio is 80 dB A-weighted. Wi-Fi 6 works on 2.4 and 5 GHz, and Bluetooth 6.0 with A2DP 1.3.2 and AVRCP 1.5.1 connects two phones at once. Connections include HDMI ARC, an aux input and a USB-C port. The subwoofer measures 237.5 x 283.4 x 237.5 mm and weighs 3.7 kg, and each satellite measures 95.5 x 281.1 x 95.5 mm and weighs 0.8 kg. Networked standby consumption is below 2.0 W.

Engineering and use context

AirPlay, Google Cast, Roon Ready and the Connect functions of Spotify, TIDAL and Qobuz are supported, so the system plays from most apps without Bluetooth. Over HDMI ARC it works as a 2.1 system for a television. Splitting each satellite into three small midrange drivers and a tweeter gives a three-way design across the system, with the subwoofer taking the bass. Firing the subwoofer down onto the desk or floor spreads its output evenly around the room. Auracast links several compatible speakers through the Harman Kardon One app, which also provides an equaliser, firmware updates and control of the LED light show, with adjustable colours, brightness and six presets. Touch controls sit on the base of the right satellite. The USB-C port plays MP3 files on the US version and is a service port elsewhere. Parts of the system use post-consumer recycled plastic and recycled aluminium, and the packaging is FSC paper printed with soy ink. The launch finish is white with clear domes and metallic accents. The retail box measures 385 x 320 x 275 mm and weighs 6.83 kg, and the power supply accepts 100 to 240 V.

Pairing

Computer, TV and phone sources can all be used at once, and its compact satellites suit a desk or a sideboard below a screen.

Alternatives

The Harman Kardon SoundSticks 5 is the Bluetooth-only version of the same system without Wi-Fi.
