The Nirvana Luxe is a portable party speaker from boAt, the Indian consumer electronics brand marketed by Imagine Marketing Limited in Mumbai. Launched in India in January 2026, it combines 360-degree spatial audio, RGB lighting and a splash-resistant cabinet. It is built in China.

Key specs that matter

It uses two 1.25 in tweeters and two 3 in woofers, with passive radiators at the ends of the cabinet. Output power is 100 W. Frequency response is 50 Hz to 20 kHz, signal-to-noise exceeds 80 dB and impedance is 4 ohms. Bluetooth 5.3 has a range of 10 m and supports LDAC. Other connections are AUX, USB-C and NFC pairing for Android. The battery is 7.4 V/9,600 mAh, giving up to 15 hours at 60% volume with lights on, and it charges in up to 4 hours at 15 V/2 A. The speaker is rated IPX6 and measures 288 x 152.5 x 145 mm.

Engineering and use context

Two tweeters and two woofers form a stereo pair in a single cabinet, while the passive radiators at each end extend bass without a port. Passive radiators are unpowered diaphragms moved by the air pressure inside the cabinet, which lets a small enclosure reach lower than its woofers alone and avoids port noise. The 360-degree spatial audio mode spreads sound in all directions, useful when listeners surround the speaker at a party. Broadcast Mode links several Nirvana Luxe speakers wirelessly for wider coverage. LDAC support allows higher-resolution Bluetooth from compatible Android phones than standard SBC or AAC. The RGB lighting has three music-synced modes. The boAt Hearables app on Android and iOS controls audio modes and lights. A built-in microphone handles hands-free calls. The IPX6 rating means the cabinet withstands powerful water jets, suitable for outdoor use near a pool. boAt positions the Nirvana Luxe as a speaker for both parties and everyday listening, with a design meant to sit on a living room console. The supplied accessories are a USB-C charging cable and an AUX cable. The launch price was INR 9,999 against an MRP of INR 24,990, with a one-year warranty, in Ivory White and Charcoal Black. A silicone cover in the matching colour is offered as an accessory.

Pairing

The Nirvana Luxe connects to phones and tablets by Bluetooth, and the AUX input accepts a laptop or portable player. Two units in Broadcast Mode cover a larger space.

Alternatives

boAt's PartyPal 450 is the brand's larger party speaker with 180 W and an 8 in woofer.
