The NAVA100 is a portable Bluetooth speaker and the first portable model from ELAC, the loudspeaker company founded in Kiel, Germany. It was announced in December 2025, shipped from 10 December 2025 and carries a list price of USD 229. Alongside the Black and Copper finishes, ELAC offers an Adsum x ELAC Cream Edition made in collaboration with Adsum, a New York label.

Key specs that matter

A custom 3 inch full-range driver works with two passive radiators. The amplifier delivers 10 W RMS at less than 1% THD, and output reaches 85 dB at 1 W and 1 m, with a maximum of 95 dB at 1 m. Frequency response is 55 Hz to 19.6 kHz at -10 dB, impedance is 8 ohm and signal to noise ratio is 82 dB. Bluetooth 5.3 carries the audio with the SBC codec. The battery pack is made of two 18650 cells of 2500 mAh each, 5000 mAh in total at 7.4 V, giving about 15 hours at 25% volume and about 6 hours at full volume. USB-C fast charging takes about 2 hours with a 1.5 A charger and 4 to 5 hours at the standard rate, and standby consumption is below 10 mW. The speaker is 150 mm long, 78 mm wide and 128 mm high, and it weighs 1.4 kg. It is rated IPX4.

Engineering and use context

The enclosure is solid aluminium, including the grille, top, bottom and rear panel, which explains its high weight for a speaker of this size. A metal enclosure resists flexing better than plastic, so less of the driver's energy is lost to cabinet movement. Moved by pressure inside the cabinet rather than by a motor, the passive radiators add low-frequency output below the range the full-range driver reaches alone. A metal control strip carries buttons for pairing two speakers, play, volume down, volume up and power, and LEDs show the charging and Bluetooth status. The Dual Play function joins two NAVA100 units as a left and right stereo pair. There is no 3.5 mm input and no carrying handle, so the speaker works over Bluetooth only. IPX4 protection covers splashing water from any direction, which allows use in kitchens, bathrooms and outdoors in light rain, but not immersion. The 18650 cells are a common lithium-ion format, and at 25% volume the pack lasts two and a half times as long as at maximum.

Pairing

Phones, tablets and laptops connect over Bluetooth. A second NAVA100 creates a stereo pair through Dual Play for a desk or a small room. Charging uses a USB-C cable and a 1.5 A adapter for the fastest charge.
