The AS-125PP is a tube monoblock amplifier made by Line Magnetic for its Analog Sound range, its Class AB push-pull output section using two 211 transmitting triodes in every chassis. Line Magnetic calls it an integrated monoblock, because each unit carries its own preamplifier stage, and it is sold in pairs, one unit per channel.

Key specs that matter

Continuous power per chassis is 60W RMS. Frequency response runs from 10Hz to 70kHz within 2dB, total harmonic distortion is 1% and signal-to-noise reaches 88dB. Input impedance can be set to 100k ohms or 600 ohms, sensitivity is listed as 500mV or 14mV, and gain is selectable at 51 or 63dB. Speaker taps are provided for 4, 8 and 16 ohm loads. Engineering and use context

Seven valves sit in each chassis - one 12AX7, two 12AU7, two 6V6 (also listed as 6P6P) and the two 211 output triodes working in push-pull. A Western Electric Model 618 replica is used as the input transformer of the preamplifier stage, and the design merges Western Electric transformer technology with current features. Line Magnetic builds every chassis by hand, with every joint wired point-to-point. The amplifier is manufactured in China, and versions for the Australian market are set up for 240V mains. The high and low voltage stages have separate dual power inputs. A switch on the front panel selects integrated amplifier mode or power amplifier mode, and a front VU meter can be turned on or off. Power consumption is 1.4A from a 220V 50Hz supply with a tolerance of 5 percent, and a crated unit weighs roughly 70kg in shipping.

Each monoblock has four pairs of RCA inputs. In integrated mode the built-in preamplifier stage lets sources connect straight to the pair, while power amplifier mode lets a separate preamplifier take over level control.
