The Z350 combines an integrated amplifier, a DAC and a Bluetooth receiver, and it is made by Myryad Systems Ltd, the British company that began trading in 1995 from Waterlooville in Hampshire, near Portsmouth. It is designed in England and made in China, and it forms the Z-Series pair with the Z310 CD player. Press coverage of the Z350 dates from September 2025.
Key specs that matter
Continuous output is 130 W into 8 ohm and 200 W into 4 ohm, and the amplifier drives speakers rated from 4 to 16 ohm. THD is 0.01% at 80% of rated power into 8 ohm from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. Input sensitivity is 300 mV, adjustable from 220 to 880 mV, maximum input exceeds 2 V RMS and input impedance is 47 kOhm. Frequency response is 20 Hz to 40 kHz within 0.5 dB, and signal to noise ratio exceeds 97 dB A-weighted. For analogue sources there are one XLR and five RCA sockets, labelled CD, SACD, TAPE, AUX and BYPASS. Digital inputs are USB-A for external drives, USB-B from a computer, optical, coaxial and Bluetooth 5.0 with an external antenna, with optical and coaxial up to 192 kHz and USB up to 32 bit and 768 kHz and DSD512. Outputs are a preamplifier output, one pair of high-current binding posts and a 6.35 mm headphone socket. The amplifier measures 436 x 115 x 377 mm and weighs 12.3 kg, and its power rating is 400 W.
Engineering and use context
The power stage is double mono, with a separate toroidal transformer for each channel and Sanken output transistors, and press reports name an ESS ES9219C DAC chip. Adjustable input sensitivity lets each source be matched in level. The BYPASS input passes a signal straight to the power amplifier at fixed gain, letting an AV processor drive the front speakers through the Z350. Relays isolate the speaker outputs in standby and while the circuit settles at power-up. A protection relay disconnects the speakers on a short circuit, a DC fault or overheating, reconnects automatically after a short or DC fault clears and waits about 5 to 15 minutes after overheating. Plugging in headphones mutes the speakers. A multifunction touchscreen, source buttons, mute and a large volume knob sit on the fine-textured aluminium front, in silver or black, and the MSR1 infrared remote is supplied.
Pairing
The Z310 CD player is the intended partner, while a powered subwoofer takes its signal from the pre-out. With its low-impedance rating, the Z350 handles most tower and compact speakers.
Alternatives
The Myryad Z240 is the smaller Z-Series integrated amplifier with 50 W per channel.
