The Momentum MxV Integrated is a two-chassis integrated amplifier from Dan D'Agostino Master Audio Systems that combines the front end of the company's Momentum preamplifier with the power section of the Momentum MxV power amplifier. Key specs that matter

The amplifier delivers 250 W per channel into 8 ohm, 500 W into 4 ohm and 1,000 W into 2 ohm. Frequency response extends from 0.1 Hz to 100 kHz at +0/-3 dB and stays within 0.1 dB between 20 Hz and 20 kHz. Distortion is 0.05 percent at 1 kHz at the full 250 W into 8 ohm. Signal-to-noise ratio is above 75 dB A-weighted and above 100 dB unweighted. Input impedance is 1 MOhm and output impedance is 0.7 ohm. Engineering and use context

One chassis holds the audio circuits and the other the power supply, and the two interlock through thirty-pin, 30 A gold-plated connectors, which keeps the supply apart from the signal. The supply is built around a 2 kVA linear toroidal transformer and a capacitor bank of nearly 60,000 uF. The preamplifier section uses six separate left and right circuit boards for the input, volume control and output stages. The amplifier circuit is discrete, direct-coupled and balanced. Each channel uses 28 high-speed, high-output bipolar transistors first sourced for the Relentless monoblock, each fixed with stainless steel fasteners to copper heat sinks of the company's copper and aluminium thermal engine design. A revised bias scheme raises operating bias by nearly 50 percent to extend Class A operation. RS-232 is provided for system control.

Pairing

The moving coil phono module gives more than 60 dB of gain with loading selectable from 100 ohm to 47 kOhm, so a turntable with a low-output MC cartridge connects directly. The digital module adds coaxial S/PDIF and optical inputs for legacy digital components, plus USB, and Ethernet and Wi-Fi for network-based music, handling PCM up to 32-bit and 192 kHz and DSD up to DSD1024.
