I hope the deck in the photos wasn't used in the review because it has the wrong heads for the new 15ips music tapes being sold today. Todays music tapes are recorded in the 2 track stereo format and the heads in the deck are 4 track stereo format. The music tape tracks don't line up with the play head tracks.

We used the Studer A810 model, received after restoration from the Swiss company Z-Audio (the work was done in cooperation with the Revox factory, which resumed its operation). For restoration, "native" spare parts were used, but the head unit was completely new. Each model from Z-Audio is also issued with a "report book" on the obtained measurements of the reel-to-reel recorder
